Very welcoming atmosphere, Food was good, waitresses was very friendly and nice.
Super cozy atmosphere, a great date spot. The food was amazing, cooked fresh, and the prices for the amount of food was really good. The staff were also super nice and made sure our every need was taken care of. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in this area again!
Didn't eat, just sat at the bar and alternated between a beer and a water for about 40 minutes. Michelle was v attentive. And this place's extra taverny with a long bar and separate rooms. Brick walls and wood paneling. Not underground but feels like it. Booths, hightops. And I adore a bar with a foot rest not joking.
Great comfort food in the heart of Kirkwood. Best turkey club around. Good selection of sandwiches and a few entrees. Usually pretty fast but can be a little slower when very busy although wait staff is always attentive. Offers a room in the back for large parties of 10 or more which is great for family gatherings.
Great place to watch a game quietly. T Tavs were great and beer prices were very reasonable. My server on Monday night was great. Definitely a place to visit. I was visiting from Toronto and met up with a couple of friends.
Great bar atmosphere in downtown Kirkwood. They have a pretty good menu selection including pizza (St. Louis style).
We often go to PJ’s but I was very disappointed at a recent visit. Food was not up to par, a not even full cup of coffee was $4.10, and the male host was dressed as if had just come off ball field. The waitress was inappropriately dressed too, with tight shorts cut up very high. We will not be returning.
Should’ve had the burger. St. Louis is known for neighborhood bars. This was one of Kirkwood‘s finest. Great atmosphere great service. Really great place to drop in. Sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing. The fellow patrons very friendly. This place is famous for burgers. We had the prime rib sandwich and the Reuben with onion rings. The food was good, but not spectacular.
First time here, Had the best pork tenderloin I can remember ever having with toasted ravioli. The service was great, will definitely go back. The bartender Maggie was fantastic.
The residents of Dolan Memory Care Homes had a great lunch at PJ's. We were a large party (14 people) with a number of people with dementia, but the staff welcomed us and treated everyone with dignity and patience. The food was very good and we did not feel rushed at all. Highly recommend getting the french dip sandwich and fries.
